"Riding the top of Bucharest"

          On October 11 I arrived at Bucharest directly from Iasi city, where I had a contest, the "BiciCooltura 2". Because the contest was very hard and the travel by train was exhausting too, I decided to go to the hotel, where I took a break and relaxed a bit. Later, I went out with my manager and the photographer, to estabilish the battle plan for next day, beside a pizza. Basically we planed and talked about the places where we had to shoot. They said, I have to ride on the top of some huge buildings what was a total surprise for me, but when I heard that, I was like... OK let's do it!
          The next day I woke up early, to prepare myself for the big shooting and to be honest, I was a bit nervous about the locations, because I did not know what to expect exactly. We had two locations, two buildings at Minerva and Metropolis Center.
          First day at Minerva: The building was wery oldschool and inspiring, the ride wasn't like an everyday training, I was soo "high" and full of adrenaline. I had a lot of funn with the photographer and our collaboration was very good.
          Second day at Metropolis Center: This time it was a 10 floor building. When I saw it, I was a bit nervous, but in the same time exited too, to get on the top. Up there was incredible to see the whole city around, the landscape was soo beautiful, that realy pushed me to the limits. I recomand to all of you to try this if you have the oportunity xD, it was such a great experience.
          I realy enjoyed this photoshooting, I had a great time and lot of fun with Mihai Stecu, who is a pro Red Bull  photographer with whom I like to work very much, because he always makes the things soo funny.

Contest BiciCooltura 2’nd edition Oct.10.2010

I arrived with the train in Iasi city on Saturday evening on October 9, where was very cold and raining, which gaved me little emotions about the contest.  When the contest started Sunday morning the situation was the same, the rain did not stop and the tracks were all wet and slippery, but the organizers have thought about the competitors safety and they camed up with a brilliant idea to put on the dangerous places wire mesh for extra grip. By the way the difficulty of the tracks wasn’t too high, but their were tehnical.

I competed in Elite category,  where were only 3 tracks, which had to be passed 3 times. I started the race very good, I managed to control my emotions very well.  The first two rounds I was leading the category, but unfortunately in the third one I began to have trouble with my concentration, In fact I finished second place.

The contest was great, I had a very good time during the race, the atmosphere was very competitive and full of adrenaline.

The premiere was a very great feeling, when they began to sprinkle us with champagne, I felt like guys in the Formula 1, It was a truly new experience.

Red Bull Flugtag 2010 Bucharest, Romania

          I was always excited about Red Bull Flugtag and on September 19, I finaly got the chance, amazingly I was invited at the third edition of Flugtag in Romania as a member of jury. I arrived at Bucharest on September 19 at 9 in the morning, then I went to see the Flugtag Museum beside Dâmboviţa river. To be honest I was not expecting big deal, but when I arrived and saw those "flying" machines I radicaly changed my opinion, Romanians  realy have a lot of imagination xD. I walked among them smiling, making photos and imagining those machines "flying", what was a very exciting feeling.
          After that I met the Jury team and made friends, we talked, laugh and had a lot of funn beside a glass of lemonade, we where all excited and looked forward to start the event. Before the event started at 2 o'clock, I had a short briefing about judging, because I never was in a jury before. Meanwhile I met Duncan Zuur too, Pro Wakeboarder Red Bull athlete from Netherland and we talked a few minutes, he was just warming.
          When the event started, the audience was crazy, and anxious to see the first flying machine in the air, like me too. When I gaved my first note I was a bit nervous, but after I got used to it, actualy I think I have done pretty well. I had a very good time during the show, my favourite team was "Familia Cementini", but they didn't won.

Contest TRial Jam 8 Sept.18.2010

          We delayed a bit, but we did it, after two days of hard work and lot of sweat finaly we managed to organize the eighth edition of the international contest named Trial Jam on Sept 18, what is already a tradition here in Oradea. The number of competitors was very big, and that made the atmosphere very pleasant, competitive and full of adrenaline, there where riders from whole Romania and we had a special guest from Hungary too, Erdelyi Adam who won the Elite category.
          I competed in Senior category and I won, the weather was rainy when I raced and the tracks were all wet and slippery, but I think I did pretty well even in those conditions.
